Father’s Day is approaching, and I’ve been thinking about how we celebrate the dads in our lives. Sure, there’s always the classic tie, the “World’s Best Dad” mug, or the latest gadget as a father’s day gift. But as a photographer capturing family memories across the Bay Area, I’ve witnessed the transformation that happens when dads – often reluctant, sometimes awkward – step in front of my camera with their children.
